Carriage Paid To (CPT)

Carriage Paid To (CPT) is a term under which the seller hands goods to a carrier it has selected and contracted, at the agreed place, and risk passes to the buyer at that handover.

Under CPT Incoterms®, the seller delivers the goods and transfers the risk of loss or damage to the buyer when the goods are handed over to the carrier selected and contracted by the seller at the agreed place and point of delivery.
